Below you’ll find hotel recommendations near the venue, ferry schedules, and other routes and considerations.

This is just a short 5-minute shuttle to the venue, and we’ll plan to after-party at the casino!

We recommend reserving ASAP as they’ll book up quickly. (We do not have a room block). *Even if you’re a maybe, their cancellation policy is a 100% refund up to 24 hours prior to your reservation.

Other Options in the Area

Fairfield Inn & Suites Poulsbo – about 15 minutes from the venue; it seems like they have rooms on short notice, so this one is likely not as urgent.

The Eagle Harbor Inn – in Bainbridge; limited rooms.

Airbnb – a few options including houses for large groups.

Seattle has plenty of hotels for anyone attending the Welcome Party, and if you plan to return on the ferry the night of the wedding.

Shuttle Service: Shuttle will be provided on the day of the ceremony, to and from the Clearwater Resort and the venue.

Travel by sea

There are two viable ferry routes: downtown Seattle to Bainbridge Island, or Edmonds to Kingston (about 30 minutes north of Seattle). Once you’re across, the venue is another 20-minute drive from either terminal. The boat ride is around 30 minutes and is an iconic experience — don’t miss the outdoor viewing decks!

  • Taking your car across:

    • The ferry is first-come, first-served for drive-ons and will have a line in the summer. We encourage anyone who can to head across on Friday to eliminate stress on wedding day (there’s a ton to do – see Exploring the Area tab). For the out-of-towners we do recommend renting a car to take advantage of sightseeing!

    • Plan to get in line at least 1-1.5 hours prior to the departure time you’re after. Take advantage of your jetlag – early morning lines are much more manageable. If the boat is full, just stay in line for the next. You can see your place in line in real time at the link here.

  • Foot passengers only:

    • You will not have the same considerations about waiting in line — the capacity for people is greater than for vehicles.

    • We’ll provide a shuttle service to and from the venue on the day of the wedding, but only from the Bainbridge terminal. Ubers/Lyfts aren’t as available here – if needed outside of our shuttle window, they recommend scheduling a ride in advance on the apps.

    • The last return ferry back to Seattle is around 1:00am.

Travel by land

The ferry is not the only way to get to the venue — you can drive directly there by taking I-5 through Tacoma, and up and around. From downtown Seattle it’s a 1.5-hour drive (without traffic). The property will have plenty of available parking. We’ll announce the venue’s exact address when sending formal invitations.
